I have always been passionate about giving back and elevating people around me in any way I can.  I am proud that through The Elevate Community, we have been able to raise over $500K for a wide variety of causes through our events and programming over the last 11 years.  I became personally driven to pivot my purpose 4 years ago after the loss of a neighbor, mother of 3 to suicide while I was battling postpartum depression/anxiety myself.  I never wanted another woman to feel alone in those moments when life can feel so heavy.  I started with a community page in my neighborhood after the loss, then a local wellness event to support women outside my neighborhood. Then we took it to a bigger city and now after my family's move cross country, I've brought the event to my new hometown.  I dream to create connection, help build community for women everywhere and help push through the stigma of talking about our vulnerabilities while we prioritize self care.  When we really take thoughtful care of ourselves we can make it through anything and in turn elevate others!
